How did you come to be doing the job you are doing today?

I’ve always been passionate about unlocking human potential. While running my law firm, I began volunteering as a mentor and trainer for young people and charitable organisations. Witnessing the extraordinary transformation that happens when people are given the right mindset and tools ignited a calling I could no longer ignore. What began as a passion soon became my full-time profession.

What surprised you when you first started your job?

I was surprised at how few people and organisations prioritised intentional personal development. I assumed everyone would be eager to invest in the very skills that drive success — but I quickly realised that not everyone sees growth as urgent until pain forces change. It taught me that part of my mission isn’t just to deliver transformation — it’s to inspire the desire for it.

What is one common misperception of your work?

People often assume my work is simply about motivation or ‘feel-good’ sessions, when in reality it’s deeply strategic. Leadership and mindset development aren’t intangible soft perks. They are performance drivers that impact retention, resilience, and results. What I do isn’t just inspirational — it’s transformational and measurable.

What is your favourite time of year – and why?

Spring — without a doubt. There’s something magical about watching everything come back to life after a long winter. No matter how cold, dark, or barren winter may seem, life returns in full colour. It’s a season of renewal and possibility and a powerful reminder that we, too, can bounce back from any season and turn things completely around.

If you had a superpower, what would it be and how would you use it?

If I had a superpower, it would be the ability to instantly replace self-doubt with unstoppable self-belief. I’d use it to empower people to take bold steps toward their goals — no hesitating, no second guessing, no holding back, just pure ‘Can Do’ energy.

How do you feel to be nominated for the Institute Advocate of the Year award?

I am genuinely deeply honoured. In a world of constant change, we don’t just need leaders who deliver results — we need leaders who elevate others. To be recognised by an institute committed to advancing human-centred leadership everywhere, a vision I completely share, is humbling and energising, and it strengthens my commitment to championing leadership that transforms not just organisations, but lives.
